“CHILL OUT !”
There are so many times you hear it said “Chill Out!” It can be someone trying to calm down a person or situation. It can be just a joke, but most of the time it’s an indication that something is out of sorts….
Now when it comes to these emotional physical bodies we live in, there comes many times when we let the world, or how we handle or process things cause us to become a wreck!
We try to do too much or think we have to be the ones to be strong and in cool, calm control at all times . God forbid we let someone see how we are coming apart in pieces internally!!!
How We Learned to Process By Watching Others
Growing up in a home with strong role models can mold us, just as a home with unhealthy situations where emotions and drama being an every day thing is normal!! It’s where we may have gotten or learned how we deal and process.
Hiding In The Shadow of His Wings
It’s when I get alone with the Lord, or just simply say “JESUS” softly that I can get the focus back on HIM and enter back into His Peace and HIS Presence pours into the situation and the atmosphere..
That’s when the Lord taught me throughout the years, after I made Him my Lord , Saviour, and Love, that I could take all that junk and let Him heal and be the One in control of my life, my emotions. Not me frantically attempting to do it all and figure it all out , but to lay it at His feet.
I encourage you today, if you have been told to “Chill Out” or know someone who needs to LOL….. take it to JESUS and leave it in His divine hands. The Master of the universe, where our problems that seem so HUGE to us is like a pin drop to Him.
He knows the plans for us and how it is all weaving a plan….. whether good things or bad things may happen, He uses it to mold and shape us into what He wants us to be.
RECOVERING PERFECTIONIST
As a recovering perfectionist, I have really come a long way with the Lord. I have learned to go with the flow and know it’s not about everything being just so , or perfect, or in control !!
Sometimes the best plans are the ones, we don’t force or make, but what the Lord allows to enfold! And believe me, His imagination , fun and creativity are sooo much bigger than anything we can think or do.
He has unlimited sources and ways to make things happen. So many times we put Him in a box, and what He has for us is so much better if we just trust.
1 PETER 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
PHIL 4:7
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
ISAIAH 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
LEARNING TO TRUST
Guess that’s what it really comes down to TRUST!
Now for some of us that may be harder than others. We feel if we don’t take care of it, no one else can do it like we can. So many times we put so much burden and work on our already full plates, because we don’t think it will be done right if we don’t do it ourselves. LOL
So I encourage you today to “CHILL” and get alone with JESUS and tell Him all about it. Instead of stuffing it or manifesting in volatile ways or on other people…let Him Heal, teach, calm, and open flood gates of His PEACE INTO THAT SITUATION!
We get so carried away with all the distractions, which the world we live in is so full of. that we have to reel back in on our focus Our Rock, Our Anchor and wait out the storm some times..then everything else starts to vanish in the background and doesn’t seem such a big situation it may have been before!!.
WE ARE ALL IN DIFFERENT PLACES
For us we are all in different phases or walks of life… Home, Life, Family, Career. and just everyday living can overwhelm us with questions, mysteries, uncertainties, fears.
It’s when we step back at times and wait upon the Lord He will open and close doors and manuever us to where we are supposed to be headed.
The main ingredient being we let Him be in the Center of it all. When we do it all on our own or figure it out for ourselves without listening to His Voice, is when we get into trouble and never knew how we got there ?
Peace, Be Still (Matthew 8:23-27)
If you find yourself at a place of feeling lost, or having no direction, or maybe just feel in limbo, reach out to the One who holds the keys to your future and knew you before you were even formed.
I saw this picture and absolutely loved it!!! We find ourselves sometime in limbo or in an uncomfortable season in our life just waiting for direction.Sometimes we have to just stand still right where we are at and just praise Him there until the next door or chapter opens,
I find myself in that spot right now and it is a scary place to be but doesn’t have to be. To feel in limbo not knowing what is around the corner or where is the next door.. when I saw this it just spoke to me to “CHILL OUT ” and relax. God’s got this!
THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH
HEBREWS 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Just knowing there is someone who sees our life as we can’t…The author and finisher of our faith..The One who knows the beginning to the end…and created us for a divine purpose can set our hearts at peace.
I encourage You today if you have never known JESUS and the peace that He can only give..Reach out to Him when everything else is going haywire around you, He is the calm in the storm and the ONE who whispers “PEACE BE STILL” I will leave this simple prayer with you.
