DO YOU EVER FIND YOURSELF KNOWING THAT THE LORD IS IN TOTAL CONTROL BUT YOUR MIND JUST KEEPS RACING AND DOESN’T YIELD TO HIS PEACE???
I HAVE HONESTLY BEEN EXPERIENCING A TIME IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW WITH MY HUBBY REGARDING HIS HEALTH. ONE DAY EVERYTHING IS FINE ONLY TO BE BOMBARDED THE NEXT WITH CHALLENGES THAT ONLY THE LORD CAN HANDLE.
I STRUGGLE, BEING THE RECOVERING PERFECTIONIST AND ORGANIZING FREAK ,TO LET GO AND LET GOD!!
I FIND MYSELF IN A DAILY BATTLE OF TRYING TO HANDLE EVERYTHING AND WONDERING WHAT IS GOING ON AND HITTING BRICK WALLS WITH EVERYTHING I TRY TO DO., INSTEAD OF JUST LETTING GO, AND TRUSTING THE LORD HAS HIS OWN REASONS AND SITUATIONS TO BRING HIS PERFECT PLAN TO FRUITION.
BY TAKING THE REINS OURSELVES AND FIGHTING, KICKING AND SCREAMING TO TRY TO GET RESULTS …JUST MAKES US MORE FRUSTRATED THAT WE REALIZE THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO APART FROM THE LORD.
I HAD TO COME TO THE POINT OF LETTING GO OF THE REINS AND REALIZED OKAY LORD YOU GOT THIS AND FOR WHATEVER REASON THINGS ARE NOT WORKING OUT IS PERHAPS YOU HAVE A PLAN WORKING IN THE BACKGROUND THAT I JUST CANT SEE AND TRUST THAT YOU HAVE OUR STEPS ORDERED. THERE ARE DOORS YOU WANT US TO GO THROUGH AND THERE ARE DOORS THAT ARE SLAMMED SHUT AND WE SHOULD NOT TRY TO FORCE THEM OPEN OR IT WILL NOT BE IN YOUR BEST INTEREST FOR US.
THIS WEEK HAS REALLY BEEN A CHALLENGING ONE..WHEN IT COMES TO THE ONES WE LOVE…WE WANT TO PROTECT AND KEEP THEM SHELTERED AND ON TOP OF THINGS ONLY TO REALIZE WE ARE NOT TO TRUST IN MAN BUT GOD ALONE!!!
NOW JUST AS THE LORD IS OUR GREAT PHYSICIAN AND HEALER ,,,I BELIEVE HE ALSO WORKS THROUGH DOCTORS AND THEIR HANDS…ITS JUST TRUSTING AND ALLOWING THE LORD TO PICK THE ONES WHO ARE GOING TO BE CARING FOR SOMEONE YOU LOVE
THERE IS A REASON AND THE LORD WORKS OUT EVERYTHING FOR OUR OWN GOOD AND PURPOSES. THAT IS INCLUDING THE DELAYS….ALL FOR A REASON.
SOMETIMES IT IS A NO OR SOMETIMES A YES AND TO WALK IN IT.
EVERYDAY, WE ALL ARE LEARNING TO DIE TO SELF AND HONESTLY SOME DAYS IT IS A REAL STRUGGLE FOR ME

ALSO DURING ALL THESE TIMES,,,THE HOLY SPIRIT WOULD KEEP REMINDING ME THAT PEOPLE ARE WATCHING AND LISTENING TO YOU AND HOW YOU HANDLE THE SITUATION,,,,, DO WE FLY OFF THE HANDLE, YELL AT PEOPLE OR CUSS PEOPLE OUT…AND RUIN OUR WITNESS….OR DO WE TRUST IN THE LORD AND ACT IN A WAY THAT IS PLEASING AND BRINGS GLORY TO HIM…WE NEVER KNOW WHO MAY BE AROUND US AT THE TIME WHEN THE HEAT IS TURNED UP TO SEE HOW WE WILL REACT;. WE CAN SHOW CHRIST TO OTHERS OR THE DEVIL.
2 CORINTHIANS 4:7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
HEBREWS 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
JAMES 1 :2-3 Count it all joy, my brothers when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
DURING THESE TIMES NOT ONLY DO WE ASK FOR GUIDANCE AS FAR AS WHAT IS FROM THE LORD AS A TEACHING TOOL VS. WHAT IS STRICTLY A FULL BLOWN ORCHESTRATED ATTACK OF THE ENEMY.!! EITHER WAY NOTHING HAPPENS TO US THAT IS NOT FILTERED THROUGH THE LORD’S HANDS. EVEN JOB WENT THROUGH EVERYTHING HE DID BECAUSE THE LORD ALLOWED SATAN TO DO IT AS A WAY OF TESTING HIS FAITH.
SO I GUESS THE QUESTION IS WHATEVER IS HAPPENING TO YOU…DO WE REACT OR OVERACT AND ARE WE KEEPING OUR FOCUS ON THE PROBLEM AND SITUATION OR ARE WE KEEPING OUR FOCUS ON THE LORD. THE ENEMY KNOWS WHEN WE GET OUR FOCUS OFF OF THE LORD IS WHEN WE ARE OUR WEAKEST AND WE HAVE TO HAVE A WAKE UP CALL TO LOOK TO THE ONE WHO IS IN CONTROL..THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH.
SO I ENCOURAGE YOU TODAY AS WELL AS MYSELF…IF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH A ROUGH CHALLENGING SEASON RIGHT NOW OR ARE GOING THROUGH THE TROUBLED WATERS IN YOUR SITUATION…LOOK TO THE ONE WHO IS IN CHARGE AND NOT ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES. SINCE THEY WILL WEIGH YOU DOWN.
WE CAN ALL LOOK TO PETER AND HOW HIS FEAR OVERTOOK HIM AND WHEN HE TOOK HIS EYES OFF OF JESUS WHAT HAPPENED.
MATTHEW 14 30-33 But when he noticed the strong wind,* he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ 31Jesus immediately reached out his hand and caught him, saying to him, ‘You of little faith, why did you doubt?’ 32When they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33And those in the boat worshipped him, saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’
THANK THE LORD HE HAS SO MUCH GRACE AND PATIENCE TOWARDS US ….. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN I FEEL LIKE A STRONG GIANT IN HIM AND THEN THERE ARE OTHER TIMES WHEN I AM SO FRAGILE AND WEAK… IN OUR WEAKNESS HE IS STRONG THOUGH.
AS WE GO THROUGH ALL THE MANY SEASONS OF PEACE AS WELL AS THE HARD TIMES WE CAN STILL HAVE HIS PEACE AND HEAR HIM WHISPER “PEACE BE STILL” AND “BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD”
I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU ALL AS WE ALL WALK OUT OUR TEMPORARY LIFE HERE AND THE LESSONS HE IS TRYING TO TEACH US ALONG THE WAY…
ITS ENCOURAGING TO KNOW THE ONE WHO IS THE CALM IN THE STORM AND THE ONE WHO NEVER LEAVES US OR FORSAKES US AND THE LIFTER OF OUR HEAD.
IF YOU HAVE NEVER KNOWN TRUE PEACE OR THE ONE WHO KNOWS ALL OUR SHORTCOMINGS YET LOVES US SO MUCH HE LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR US..SO WE CAN BE WITH HIM FOREVER AND EXPERIENCE A LIFE OF JOY NO MATTER WHAT AND A HOPE AND A FUTURE HE HAS FOR US. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO REACH OUT TO HIM…HE IS REACHING OUT TO YOU…..HIS NAME IS JESUS
