Proverbs 31:10-31
An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. 1 Peter 3:1-22
Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct. Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. Now I know we are all under construction daily girls….I myself have fallen so short at times and still fall short when it comes to my hubby. Have learned when peace is more important and giving it to God rather than picking a fight.
Or when my stubbornness says I want to do it “MY” way or” LORD my husband just doesn’t understand. “
Too many times, I have seen what a bossy, overbearing woman that constantly be-littles or controls a man and what it does to his self-worth or his sense of masculininty or his God-given calling In life, and it just breaks my heart. I know ladies it goes both ways…we all desire to be loved and treated as we would treat others and sometimes it doesn’t always work that way, But give it to the Lord and He can only change a situation or person , we can’t. So we must give up control and hand it over to the Lord.
There are so many other topics to talk about in a different post, but wanted to again be fair to both the guys and the girls.,and even though the Lord made us with differences, when we realize we are all walking this walk and learn to respect, admire, and embrace those differences instead of trying to see another person as a “PROJECT'”. GET IT OUT OF YOUR HANDS AND GIVE IT INTO THE HANDS OF THE LORD WHO KNEW US EVEN BEFORE WE WERE BORN AND FORMED US.
As always wanted to encourage you ..If you never have accepted the Lord as your personal Savior, or if at one time you had a close relationship with Jesus, but life, or pain, or whatever got in the way and you want to reconnect again. I will leave this simple prayer with you and let me know so I can celebrate with you and encourage you.
In His Love,
Janise
