“WHAT IS A HOT BABE”

“HOT BABE”

Growing up in my house as a teenager I remember some of  the names being talked about like Farrah Fawcett, Bo Derek, Raquel Welch  to name a few

When guys are asked what is hot. this is what some have said:

Hot is another universally accepted term used by men and women alike. Which is very subjective as everyone may have their own version of what they deem hot. . Most guys would say ‘hot’ is somewhere between an 8 and 9 on the standard scale. Usually hot girls know they are hot and it makes them have a more entitled attitude than average women. . She usually brings nothing to the table except her looks and those fade, .. Attention is her goal and loyalty is not a priority. There are always exceptions, of course, but in general hot women are a hassle and often high maintenance. Often times hot girls are deceptively hot. Meaning once the make-up is off and the sweat pants come out , she is actually not as hot anymore. ‘Hot’ tends to be an overused term thrown around too freely.

HERE’S WHAT MEN WHEN ASKED HAVE DESCRIBED THE CHARACTER OF WHAT THEY REALLY WANT IN A WOMAN

Ambition

Despite the pervasive stereotype that men are intimidated by ambitious women, men rank this trait ahead of others like refinement, being a good cook and having similar religious backgrounds. While it’s not high on their list it is clear that men find a woman’s drive, determination and energy attractive qualities in a life partner.

Desire for Home and Children

A woman’s desire for home and children has become less attractive to men over time. In 1939, men ranked it at No. 6. As women have increasingly achieved similar levels of education and career status, men may have begun to perceive them as more equal partners. How to divide the labor of home and work isn’t as obvious as it was to their grandparents’ generation

Good Health

Men look for good health in a potential wife, but it is slightly less important to them today than it was in the past. In the 1930s and again in the 1970s, they ranked a woman’s health at No. 5. They are smart to rank it fairly high on their marriage-material list. Both sexes are living well into their 70s, and often older, making good health a predictor of a long-lasting marriage.

Sociability

Both men and women put sociability on their lists of mate preferences. And for both sexes, it has been steadily moving up the list because today’s married couples are more likely to be friends and have mutual circles of friends, it makes sense that this has become a more attractive characteristic.

Pleasing Disposition

Men place a potential wife’s pleasing disposition at No. 5 and have included it in their top-five traits since the 1930s

Education and Intelligence

A woman’s education and intelligence are more attractive to men than ever before. This characteristic has been steadily climbing the ranks of men’s desires for decades,  Now that women are receiving 60% of college degrees and are half of the workforce, men are looking for women who are both intelligent and educated–or in other words, more accomplished and interesting than ever.

Emotional Stability and Maturity

Both men and women consistently cite emotional stability and maturity as one of the most attractive traits in a potential spouse. While men often fall victim to the stereotype of prioritizing physical attraction, when it comes to a potential wife, they want a woman who is grounded and secure in herself. Women also place maturity at No. 3 on their lists of good-husband material.

Dependable Character

Throughout the 20th century a woman’s dependable character has been a top priority for men, who ranked it at No. 1 as far back as 1939. Like women, men want a life partner who will be trustworthy, faithful and reliable. They want a wife who will stand by their side and, considering divorce rates, it’s no surprise that dependability would continue to be attractive.

Agreeableness and ability to empathize

Men may find women who are extroverted, agreeable and highly empathic more appealing than women who exhibit these traits to a lesser degree.

Self-sacrificing

She appreciates you

One of the major complaints men have in a relationship is that they often feel criticized, as if nothing they do can please the other. In other words, they feel unappreciated, which (unsurprisingly) has consequences on their relationship .

WHAT MEN WANT US TO KNOW

You’re Beautiful When You Don’t Try so Hard

“I wish women knew even though we appreciate you taking hours to get dressed and ‘put on your face,’ it’s no longer necessary. Superficial beauty catches our attention but natural beauty keeps it.”

We Care About Much More than Looks

“Women need to know that looks aren’t the only thing that matters to us. If I want to be in a relationship with somebody, I need to have a deeper connection with them than just the physical. The best thing that a woman could do to attract me is to be herself.”

No matter how “cute” or “hot” they are. A  woman that  has a good character (honesty, integrity, trustworthiness), a positive attitude (cheerful, caring, friendly, forgiving, helpful, and respectful), fulfills their responsibilities (for handling pains in a positive way, for always trying to make a good choice, for taking care of themselves, for serving others), puts forth their best effort, and displays self-control (of their body, anger, tongue and money). means more to us than just looks.

A Christian man’s desires:

-He wants a woman that will respect him.
-He wants a woman that understands the role that God has given her.
-He wants a woman that is a doer of God’s word and not just a hearer only.
-He wants a woman that can pray with him and for him.
-He wants a woman that is humble.
-He wants a woman that is slow to speak and quick to listen.
-He wants a woman that brings peace to the relationship.
-He wants a woman that supports him even when he makes mistakes.
-He wants a woman that gives him affirmation.
-He wants a woman that gives him encouragement.

How God’s sees us and should strive towards………

Proverbs 31:30-31 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.

Proverbs 14:1

The wisest of women builds her house, but folly with her own hands tears it down.

Proverbs 31:26

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

Proverbs 21:9

It is better to live in a corner of the housetop than in a house shared with a quarrelsome wife

Proverbs 31:25

Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come

Proverbs 3:15-18

She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed.

Proverbs 31:10-31

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands. She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar. …

Proverbs 12:4

An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, but she who brings shame is like rottenness in his bones.

1 Peter 3:1-22

Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct. Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, ..

Galatians 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Genesis 2:18

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

Ruth: Even though Ruth wasn’t an Israelite, she remained loyal to her Israelite mother-in-law, Naomi. She followed Naomi back to her homeland and married Boaz, the next-of-kin, to continue the family line, provide for Naomi and ultimately become an ancestor of Jesus. (Read Ruth’s story in Ruth 14)

Now I know we are all under construction daily girls….I myself have fallen so short at times and still fall short when it comes to my hubby. Have learned when peace is more important and giving it to God rather than picking a fight.

Or when my stubbornness says I want to do it “MY” way or” LORD my husband just doesn’t understand. “

Too many times, I have seen what a bossy, overbearing woman that constantly be-littles or controls a man  and what it does to his self-worth or his sense of masculininty or his God-given calling In life, and it just breaks my heart.  I know ladies it goes both ways…we all desire to be loved and treated as we would treat others and sometimes it doesn’t always work that way, But give it to the Lord and He can only change a situation or person , we can’t. So we must give up control and hand it over to the Lord.

There are so many other topics to talk about in a different post, but wanted to again be fair to both the guys and the girls.,and even though the Lord made us with differences, when we realize we are all walking this walk and learn to respect, admire, and embrace those differences instead of trying to see another person as a “PROJECT'”. GET IT OUT OF YOUR HANDS AND GIVE IT INTO THE HANDS OF THE LORD WHO KNEW US EVEN BEFORE WE WERE BORN AND FORMED US.

As always wanted to encourage you ..If you never have accepted the Lord as your personal Savior, or if at one time you had a close relationship with Jesus, but life, or pain, or whatever got in the way and you want to reconnect again. I will leave this simple prayer with you and let me know so I can celebrate with you and encourage you.

In His Love,

Janise
